Why Jimmy Hibbert? I've been a fan of Jimmy for as long as I've been going to the hockey, and always thought he was an amazing netminder, and an amazing guy (not to mention v.v.v.cute!! ;). My fave hockey guys (most of them, anyways!) are netminders, there's just something special about them (plus padded up they look like teddies!!). Why do a Hibby fan site? Why not?! :) I was just starting out on the internet when I had the idea, and as well as being a great way to learn more about using it, it was a great way to tell everyone how great Jim is, find other Hibby fans out there, and display my hockey art. What's with all the bloody rabbits??? Well, that's nothing to do with the hockey, admittedly! The bunny/crossed sticks logo has been one of my little "tags" for a long time now (along with the bunny on it's own, and also the angel bunny), and so I decided to include it in the site somehow and Voila! HockeyBunnies was born! (I am of course the Original Hockey Bunny). I've always loved rabbits from being tiny, so I had to fit them in somehow! Strange alternate text on some of the pictures (that coach thingy in particular).Why????!! (Some fetish for transport??) Actually, I have no "Thing" for transport (ask anyone, I HATE public transport/travelling of any kind!!) at all. I think what this is getting at is the flash text on the logo which links to my boyfriend's website (who's net name is KillerBus....ahhhh, all becomes clear! heehee!). That "Coach" as you put it (tsk tsk) is actually a bus, designed by moi as an interesting link. The other flash text is not weird, coz mainly it says "Jim's cute" (or words to that effect!), so it's all perfectly true. Who says you're "Officially No.1"? Basically, me! I did a full net search for any other fan sites before making this one, and there weren't any, hence I was the first (or No.1).The "official", well, the great man himself has seen it and approved, and that's official enough for me! My "Officially Jimmy Hibbert's No.1 Fan" tag was how I originally distinguished myself from the millllllllllions of other Sarahs that were posting on hockey GBs (back in the days of using my proper name! Heehee), and started off as someone picking on me for always sticking up for Jim, and asking if I had a badge of some description to prove my Jimmy Authoritaaaaaaay (No, but I do have a T-shirt! heehee). |
